![]() ![]() All of the characters, including those that escaped to Earth, are dead. The conclusion to the series is that humans (and all life on Earth) go exstinct, and nobody can do anything to stop it. The only communication they got from the surface was basically just creepy necromorph noises. I mean, you see that when they return to earth a brethren moon is basically eating the planet, and the ship that Isaac and Carver are on crashes into another one. The way I saw it, Isaac failed, and the brethren moons ate humanity. I’ve read that the real ending is in the dead space 3 awakening DLC.I'm 2 years late to this one, but when Awakening released, everyone seemed to think it ended on a cliffhanger. Anyway I think this game is as good as the first two games by far and the whole trilogy is a solid one, although I still think dead space 1 is the absolute scariest and most atmospheric game in the series. It’s been something I’ve been working towards for awhile. ![]() When I finished chapter 19 and the credits rolled I found myself feeling really accomplished to have finally gotten the dead space trilogy beaten for the first time. That’s probably something I’ll do someday. I really enjoyed the side missions too, that was something that I really feel enriched the game, I wish I had a co-op parter to do the few that wasn’t able to. The snowy planet had some really good moments and kindof reminded me of the thing. ![]() However, once I landed on Tau Volantis (game of thrones reference maybe?) I still really enjoyed the game. The space graveyard is definitely a major highlight of the game and if more of the game was like that I think it would have gotten a better reception. Now that I’ve beaten the game and have seen the whole thing I still stand by my initial reaction. ![]() So a few weeks ago I posted here already talking about how I thought the game was better than the reputation it had made it out to be. ![]()
